The Lawton PTA Council recently recognized three students who received state awards in the Reflections contest, along with three schools with an increase in membership.
The three state Reflections winners are: Molly Ghrayyeb, Award of Distinction for Intermediate Dance Choreography, Award of Distinction for Intermediate Photography; Annie Ghrayyeb, Award of Distinction for Primary Dance Choreography, Award of Merit for Primary Literature, and Award of Merit for Primary Photography; and Sophia Perry, Award of Merit for Intermediate Music Composition.
There were more than 300 entries statewide in the Reflections contest.
Three schools also were recognized for an increase in membership. Crosby Park received an award for the highest percent increase in membership and Edison and Cleveland received awards for 100 percent teacher membership.
