Five LPS students attended Lineman Demo Day at Cotton Electric Cooperative in Walters on April 28. Students had the opportunity to hear directly from journeyman linemen, ask questions, and get a real look at what the job looks like day-to-day. Students climbed poles, checked out bucket trucks, watched a live line demonstration, and toured Cotton Electric CO-OP facilities. Opportunities like this help students better understand career pathways and the skills needed to be successful after high school. Big thanks to Cotton Electric for opening their doors and creating an experience our students won’t forget. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed
