For the first time in program history, the MacArthur High School (MHS) football team is set to host a home playoff game on the MHS campus as they are set to host Noble in the first round of the OSSAA playoffs on Friday, Nov. 14.

The Highlanders earned the right to host one and potentially two games on their home turf by beating Bishop McGuinness in the final game of the regular season to claim the District Championship. This will not be the first home football game or the first playoff game on campus (Lady Highlander soccer hosted three playoffs game last spring) but these two games have the potential to pack the MHS campus.
Fans will need to be aware of a few guidelines when attending the playoff game at “The Hill” as the stadium has been tabbed by the students and media:
All fans must abide by the rules and regulations set in the LPS Fan Guide at the beginning of the season. The clear bag policy will be enforced.
Students MUST purchase a ticket to attend the game. Student IDs will still be required for all LPS secondary students. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or on GoFan.co. Tickets are $10 at the gate or $8.35 when purchased online or on the GoFan app.
LPS All-Sport Passes and LPS employee IDs DO NOT gain access to OSSAA playoff games. Only approved OSSAA playoff passes and purchased tickets gain admission.
All MHS fans are asked to park in the high school student or staff parking lots. Noble fans will be asked to park in the MacArthur Middle School parking lot just off of E 45th St.
The MacArthur High School student section will be located in the portable bleachers on the track just on the north side of the home stands. The Highlander Regiment will be in the bleachers to the south of the home stands.
Also, the OSSAA is allowing all veterans into first round playoff games free of charge. Below is a statement from the OSSAA on the event:
“If you are a veteran, either active duty, retired, reserve or national guard, the OSSAA would like to invite you to attend the first round of the football playoffs on Friday, November 14th. All veterans and one guest will be admitted free of charge on Friday, November 14th to all OSSAA first round football playoff games on behalf of the OSSAA and Gateway Bank. The OSSAA appreciates the sacrifices of all veterans and hopes you will take advantage of this opportunity. Simply show your Military ID card, or driver’s license that shows your military status at the gate next Friday, and you and ONE guest will be admitted free of charge. Thank you for your service!”
As always, the game will be broadcast LIVE on the Oklahoma Sports Network. The game can be found on their website or on the OSN Facebook, YouTube page, or smart TV app. All other links are not allowed and fans should NOT click on the link in case of a spamming attempt.
