Lawton Public Schools will host its Tenth Annual Career Fair from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6 at Central Middle School, 1201 NW Fort Sill Boulevard.
The event is intended for experienced teachers, prospective teachers, teacher assistants and personal care assistants, as well as those interested in becoming bus drivers, monitors, cafeteria workers, custodians or skilled trade workers for the district.
Principals and district leadership will be present to speak with attendees, who may fill out applications on-site. Individuals with BA or BS degrees are welcome to bring transcripts and resumes to discuss paths to emergency or alternative teacher certification. Interviews may also be given to pre-qualified candidates on-site.
