Lawton Public Schools Board of Education members unanimously approved a proposal by Superintendent Dr. Tom Deighan during the August 7, 2017 board meeting. The approval means an increase in certified staff's salaries through a combination of an increase in the salary scale and an incentive/retention stipend for the 2017-18 school year.
Board members also approved to add a step to the certified and support salary scale for employees who have currently reached the maximum pay step. The maximum was moved from 28 to 29.
