Today Gateway students took a field trip to the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark where they learned the history of Fort Sill. The tour included the history of the Buffalo Soldier as well as Native American tribes in the region and their role in the development of Fort Sill.
High school parent/teacher conferences begin today at 3pm. Middle school will be tomorrow from 3-6pm. If you'd like to make an appointment, please contact your child's teacher(s) directly or call LVA at (580) 585-6499 today. You may request Zoom, telephone, or in-person meetings.

Lawton Virtual Academy/Gateway Success Center staff hosted their First Annual Chili Cook-off on Dec. 3!
The chili cook-off competition was held alongside a cornbread bake-off, which lead to two award winning dishes -- one from each competition!
Mr. Belter was the first place winner in the chili cook-off.
Mrs. Mason took first in the cornbread competition!
We can't wait for next year!
