Families and guests, please be aware of the ongoing security measures enacted at Edison Elementary.
- When visiting the school always check in at the main office. You will need a legal ID to enter building. The ID will be scanned into our electronic security system to assess for various security risks. The secretaries will print a visitor badge out for you to wear during your visit. It must be easily visible to everyone who you come in contact with.
- When dropping students off for school each day, parents may not walk students to their classrooms unless they have an appointment with the teacher. Teachers are on duty when students enter the building and cannot be released from their duty of teaching and taking care of students to speak with parents or visitors unless an appointment is made.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but our number one priority is to keep our students and staff safe. Please contact the school principal or assistant principal for questions regarding this policy.
