It's game week!! One of the biggest rivalries in America takes the stage Friday night at Cameron Stadium! The Lawton High Wolverines and Eisenhower Eagles meet up to start the home football season for our #LawtonPS high schools! #WeAreLPS

Monday afternoon we got to celebrate all three of our high school multipurpose buildings being completed with ribbon cuttings at each site! Most importantly student-athletes, coaches, and staff got the opportunity to step inside the buildings and get their first look at the locker rooms, concessions stands, restrooms, athletic training rooms, and the other amenities the buildings have to offer. Congratulations to MacArthur High School junior Rohan Mariano! He brought home two medals from the OSSAA 6A State Swim Championships, placing sixth (4:57.70) in the 500 freestyle and seventh (1:48.89) in the 200 freestyle. #WeAreLPS

Girls wrestling is booming in Lawton and the female athletes on our Lawton Public Schools wrestling teams showed off their skills at the first ever girls wrestling exhibition at Lawton High School. #WeAreLPS

Congratulations to the two #LawtonPS Oklahoma Coaches Association (OCA) All-State selections, Joe Warner and Aidan Vaughn from MacArthur High School. They will participate in the All-State game this summer. #WeAreLPS Warner and Vaughn were also selected All-Star by class by the OCA with teammate Marquis Harris.

The Lawton High School Wolverines boys basketball team was busy over the winter break, going down to Texas and winning the Silver Bracket at the In&Out Holiday Invitational! Tavaris Deans was named MVP and Pene Vaisagote and Champ Brewer were named to the All-Tournament Team! #WeAreLPS

The Great Plains Invitational starts this afternoon at the Great Plains Coliseum! All three of our #LawtonPS are in action tonight. Eisenhower plays Newcastle at 4:30 PM, Lawton High faces US Grant at 6 PM and MacArthur closes day one out with Northwest Classen at 7:30 PM! #WeAreLPS All three games will be streamed on the Oklahoma Sports Network.
