Letter from Hime

LPS Family,

\r\n

It looks like another round of inclement weather is heading our way. Due to the dangerously cold wind chill in the morning and potential for hazardous road conditions during the early morning hours, we will shift from In-Person Learning to Remote Learning for Wednesday, Feb. 23. We will evaluate conditions for Thursday and send an update tomorrow as soon as a decision is made.

\r\n

It is still our goal and focus to remain flexible and continue to work with our families. We ask that you continue to communicate with teachers regarding assignment expectations and work. Teachers are available remotely.

\r\n

We also ask that our staff continue to communicate with their building administrator or supervisor regarding the work day.

Our Child Nutrition staff is preparing meals for tomorrow to be sent home with students this afternoon. Please check book bags. Thank you for your continued support of the district.

Stay warm and safe!

Sincerely,

\r\n
