Title VII

There are a variety of programs at TMS available to help all our students to succeed academically.

Co-Teaching

All 6 teams (not including electives) are organized to facilitate cooperative teaching, pairing a special education teacher with another certified teacher in the classroom.

Gifted & Talented

The Tomlinson Gifted /Talented program provides various enrichment activities such as field trips that include science, art, and college career tours. It provides information for student regarding University of Oklahoma Horizons program, Teen Court, Medical Explorers and Gear-Up summer opportunities. It provides the 6th grade Explorations class year and the Duke University ACT Talent Search for 7th graders. As the gifted and talented facilitator, Mrs. Dennis meets with each identified child to monitor his/her progress, and maintain records. Additionally, she collaborates with site counselors, principals, and parents in pursuing appropriate opportunities, resources, and interventions for our students.
