The Highlanderettes attended NDA Dance Camp in Norman during the summer of 2007. They received Excellent ratings on their home routine, 1st place in team dance,  2nd place in team leader, had 5 All-American nominees, 2 All American winners, & won the Spirit & Technical excellence Awards.

In September the seniors competed for OSDTDA All Stare honors. Alison Beck & Kylie Brownsworth were named All Region West dancers, while  Emily Weeks was named All State dancer. The Highlanderette competition squad will compete at the OSDTDA state competition in December.

Besides performing at all home football & basketball games and pep rallies, the Highlanderettes dance at numerous events throughout Lawton, have a YMCA flag football team, participate in various community service projects, hold a dance clinic for young girls, and are individually involved with many other activities.
