Throughout the year, student council participates in many projects that assist our school and community. Student Council has coordinated canned food drives, helped with Special Olympics, and sponsored teams for Relay for Life. Every year at Christmas the council sponsors a specific organization and supports the Lawton Public Schools Basket Project by providing presents. In late January, the annual Blood Drive for the Oklahoma Blood institute is held. MacArthur always leads the way among the schools in the area. Service projects are a huge part of student council's purpose and continue to be rewarding to both school and community.
