Teachers and students alike are recognized each month and presented with a certificate and other awards. A teacher is nominated and voted on by student council each month to be Teacher of Month. Another teacher and a support person are also spotlighted each month. At the end of the year, a teacher is selected by student council to be Teacher of the Year.
A student from each grade level is selected by the faculty each month to be Student of the Month. Students are also recognized for their accomplishments via the marquee, announcements, or the bulletin board. A "goodie" bag is given to students every time a team or an individual competes at state level.
