Meetings

Meetings are held the first Monday of every month. All members are required to attend these meetings. The board is to meet the Wednesday before regular meetings.  Meetings are at 7 A.M. in Room 156 or at 2:20 in the library.

Activities

Members are required to have five hours of service. This can be to the club, the school, or the community. If the service was not lead by the club, please contact an officer or sponsor for an hour slip so other activities can be recorded toward a total hour count.

Members are also asked to be a part of a committee. The four committees available are fundraising, induction, activity, and community service. There are specific board members for each one. If you are interested in joining, please contact him or her.

 

Requirements to get into National Honor Society

 

Scholarship

3.6 or higher cumulative high school grade point average

Leadership

It is based on the student's leadership in the community or school activities.

Service

Based on the student's involvement in several school or community service projects.

Character

Based on teacher recommendations and disciplinary records in terms of integrity, behavior, ethics, and cooperation with peers and faculty.
