                   For many years Macarthur has been known for its outstanding choir. There are many different types of choirs but only 3 go on to contests to represent Macarthur. Those three choirs are: Showtime Singers, Singsations, and Honor Choir. These three choirs work very hard to show everyone what they are really about.

               Mrs. Martin is a wonderful choir teacher and really knows how to sing. She taught our very own Miss America, Lauren Nelson, who was in Showtime Singers in 2003. Even though she might get frustrated, Mrs. Martin continues to work hard and achieve her goals to put on a show stopping performance from each group.

                Every year, Mac's choir puts on a Musical for everyone to see. This year's musical was called FAME!

Choir auditions for the 2007-2008 year are held Friday, April 27th. From the 23rd to the 26th of April, practices are available to attend to learn to song and choreography of the auditions.

Special Complements from Kyle Smith our school principal.  When asked what are your thoughts about the MHS choir., He replied" Mac has the premiere and best choir program in Southwest Oklahoma.  For  the past 5 years has been one of the the best in the state as evidence in their performances throughout the state.  The high school 's musicals are one of my most favorite things to see coming from big Mac choir.  In my 26 years of educational experience Mac choir has the best choir I have ever seen.
