Jim Madden

Junior Principal

Handles discipline and attendance for all juniors. Supervises activities such as athletic events, dances, hallways etc.

Earned a Bachelor's Degree from Cameron and a Master's Degree from Southwestern. He has been working in education for 29 years and at Macarthur High School for 7 years.

Awards include 2005 Champions for Children; Distinguished Achievement Award 1998, OPTIMIST Teacher of the year 1986, Who's Who Among American Teachers 1982, 1986, 1989, 1994, and 1998. Mr. Madden was a finalist twice for the LPS Teacher of the Year in 1988 and 1993. Fellowship of Christian Athletes Coach of the Year 1984, George Nigh's (former Governor) Science Teacher of the Year 1984, and MHS Faculty Member of the month in 2001 and 2003.

Science teacher at Eisenhower Junior High for 18 years. Coached football, wrestling and golf.  9th Grade Counselor and Activities Director at Tomlinson Junior High for 5 years. He has been in Administrator  for the last 7 years at Macarthur and Eisenhower High School.
