Ernie Manning

Coach Ernie Manning teaches U.S. History and has been teaching at MacArthur for 15 years.  He has previously taught at Rush Springs, Chickasha, and Pampa, TX.  He taught for 6 years at each school.  Coach Manning graduated from Tipton in 1969.  He then spent two years at SWOSU (1969-1971) and then graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1975.  Coach Manning was named the teacher of the year at Chickasha in the mid 80's and was also named teacher of the year at MacArthur in 2003.  He became interested in teaching so that he could coach.  How coach Manning keep his student motivated is by being motivated his self.
