Fire Drill ProcedureThe signal for a fire drill will be the fire alarm bell or “Code Red” on the intercom. With the teacher leading, the students will exit in one line and proceed to the designated place by the North fence. A student should be designated to close the classroom door. |
Severe Weather Procedures The signal for emergency weather procedures will be one long continuous bell or “Code Black” on the intercom. |
|
| Crisis Procedures Level 1: Students will be kept in classroom. Students will not be allowed in the hallway, bathroom, office, etc. If students are in PE or music, their teacher will go to the students. The PE and music teachers will go to front to monitor and the custodian to office.

School Safety The safety of our students is a priority.
During a severe weather emergency, the safest place for your child is at school, not traveling in a car. Unless it is absolutely necessary, we prefer that parents stay home and take safety precautions themselves, rather than get out in severe weather and come to the school to take their students home. If you feel you must take your child home, we ask that you sign them out at the office, so we are aware that they are with you.
