"Arts for Small" planned at Whittier Elementary
Whittier Elementary School will hold its 28th annual version of “Arts for Small,” a showcase for its young artists. “Oklahoma Rising” is the theme for this year's show, which takes place Friday, May 4. Artwork may be viewed from 5-6:15 p.m., with a school performance following at 6:30 p.m. on the playground. The Whittier PTSA will sell barbecue sandwiches and hotdogs at the event. All meals include a side dish and desert. Drinks and snowcones will be available separately.
State Capitol - some lucky teachers and students will get to attend.
Whittier Elementary, located in beautiful Southwest Oklahoma, is proud to be part of the Lawton Public School System. Whittier educates students in grades K through 5 in a warm, caring environment. Each Whittier teacher follows the Great Expectations Teaching Model. In fact, Whittier was designated as a Great Expectations Model School for the third straight year.
