Soccer - Football
The Hugh Bish Booster Club sponsors all sports at this school and across the Lawton Public System and events are coordinated with the city of Lawton Parks and Recreation department.
Soccer and Football sign ups are available in the office and during Welcome Back to School Night. Sign ups will close on September 1, 2010.

There is a great need for soccer coaches. If you are willing to coach these great kids, let us know, the kids need YOU!

Booster Club News:

We will be starting football, soccer, cheerleading and pep club sign-ups at check-in for all students. The teams fill up fast so the parents need to make sure they come prepared to sign their child up and pay the fees. Some of the fees have not been set as of yet. I will know by the end of the week about football and soccer. Fees for football and soccer range from $85-$100 if the child needs a uniform. Cheerleading costs approximately $275 and pep club is approximately $85. Anyone wanting to play football must have a physical performed by a doctor prior to being allowed to practice and play.

Children of all grades are eligible for soccer and pep club. To play football, you have to be in 2nd-5th grade. To be a cheerleader, you have to be in 3rd-5th grade.

We still need volunteers for the 2nd/3rd grade football team, soccer teams, cheerleading and pep club. Persons interested in filling those positions need to come to enrollment and talk to a Booster Club representative.

Football, cheerleading and pep club season begins the week of September 16th. Soccer begins September 21st. Practices will begin around August 15th but practice dates may change due to the coach's schedules.

We will also be selling t-shirts at check-in for $10. If you want to put the graphic of the t-shirt on the website, that would be great.

The Board members are: President: Leah Terrill-NesSmith, Vice Present: LaToya McClelland, Secretary: Jessica Nazario and Treasurer: Robin Lockwood.

The cost of membership is $7 per family and is included in the child's sign-up fee. Anyone wishing to become a member of Booster Club can become a member regardless of whether their child is playing a sport.
