Welcome to our school counselor's web page. Mrs. Wells is available to help all children in many ways. She presents lessons in the classrooms on such topics as bullying, harassment, positive role models, self-esteem, self-worth, peer pressure as well as helping with LPS benchmark testing, English as a second language testing, CoGAT testing, and the famous state mandated testing each spring. She is a very busy person, but keeps student safety and student best interest educationally at heart. She came to Hugh Bish Elementary from Washington Elementary within the Lawton Public School system.
BOX TOPS We are collecting Box Tops for Education again this year. Bring your Box Top to school and give them to Mrs. Wells or drop them in one of the collection boxes.
BULLYING
AND HARRASSMENT Mrs. Wells, our school counselor has started the annual class instruction on bullying and harassment. Your child should bring home a small poster to keep to help them remember that bullying and harassment is wrong and should be reported to their teacher so it may be investigated and dealt with. The posters she gave students are on her web page. This is another step we take at Hugh Bish to keep ALL students safe. If you need another copy, click on the poster you need for a printer friendly version which will print in color if you are using a color printer.
