Robert Roshell , Principal

Robert Roshell became principal of Gateway Success Center in August 2011.  He is completing his 32nd year as an Oklahoma educator.  He has been a secondary school administrator for over twenty years.  He started his career as a math teacher with Enid Public schools in 1980-81.  He spent 15 years with Clinton Public Schools as a teacher and administrator and he has been with Lawton Public Schools since 1995.  Some of his previous assignments were Clinton High School Principal 1990-95, Tomlinson Jr. High School Assistant Principal 1995-1998, Macarthur Jr. High School Principal 1998-2000, Macarthur High School Principal 2000-2007.  From January 2007 until August 2011 he served on active duty with the Army National Guard as the Senior ARNG Advisor Fort Sill Fires Center of Excellence and most recently he was the commander of the 2-45th Agribusiness Development Team in Afghanistan.  His wife, Dayanna Roshell, is a pre-K teacher at the Learning Tree Academy and his daughters graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1999 and 2008.  His two grandsons attend Almor West Elementary School.
