Our Principal
Mrs. Moore was born in Lynwood, California and raised in Temple, Oklahoma where she attended elementary and high school.
She received her bachelor's degree from Cameron University and her master's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She has been an educator for 27 years.
Mrs. Moore began her teaching career at the Douglass Learning Center and has also taught at Eisenhower Elementary School and Almor West Elementary, all of which are in Lawton, Oklahoma. She served as an Assistant Principal for one semester each at Hugh Bish Elementary, Sheridan Road Elementary, Geronimo Road Elementary, and the Douglass Learning Center. She became principal at Wilson Elementary and served there for seven years. She transferred to Eisenhower Elementary where she has been the principal for the last five years.
Mrs. Moore and her husband, Mike have happily married for 32 years. Mr. Moore is the Athletic Coordinator, Math Teacher, and Coach at MacArthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. They have two children who are products of the Lawton Public Schools. They one grandson who is the apple of their eye. They are big fans of OU sports and MacArthur sports programs.
Mrs. Moore believes that all students have the potential to achieve their dreams. We have a dedicated staff with a common goal - to do what is best for students. We are always looking for ways to achieve that goal. Together we can meet the challenges facing our students and instill in them the desire to be life long learners.
