Encouraging the Cougar family to reach for the stars . . . Here is a message from Mr. Stormer!

Welcome to Carriage Hills Elementary! I hope that you can get a glimpse of what our school is all about from the information we have on our web site! Our vision at CHES is simple: “Growing together today . . . creating a better tomorrow.” This vision which is shared and practiced by all faculty and staff is the focal point for many of the activities and projects that do here.. We are proud of the achievements of all our students, and we are dedicated to helping each and every child grow.

I am thrilled to be Principal here at Carriage Hills! As many of you may know, I was once a teacher here and both of my children completed their elementary years CHES.  Thus, I am thrilled to be back home, and I am privileged to be part of this wonderful school community. I am in my 27th year in Lawton Public School District.  I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Cameron University and a master’s degree in education and school administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University..

Our teachers and support staff are the fantastic! They make learning fun, while maintaining high standards for academics and citizenship. It is inspiring to visit classrooms and watch our master teachers at work. Through their caring and dedication, our students continue to grow.

Carriage Hills parents are essential to the success of our school! We are fortunate to have active, involved parents who donate hundreds of volunteer hours to our school. Education is maximized when school and home work together, and I encourage all our parents to become part of our hard-working P.T.A. or Booster Club!

Please click on the various links to learn more about our school. If I can answer questions, please send me an email, call, or set up an appointment to visit. Thank you for your interest in Carriage Hills Elementary!
