Mrs. Embry

Professional Education Statement: My vision for the 2006-2007 school year is to help my students be responsible, educated members of our school and community.  I will challenge my students to be the very best that they can be.  Through a variety of learning experiences and by setting high expectations for myself and my students, I know my students can achieve the optimum level of success in and outside of the classroom.  I also expect my students to have equally high expectations for me and themselves.  I strongly believe that the student's role is to work hard and to come to school each day prepared to engage and contribute to the learning process.  I want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask questions and to when he or she does not understand a new learning concept.  Remember Winston Churchill's words, "Success is never final, and failure is never fatal.  It is courage that counts."
