If you are residing in a guest house on post you will need the ask Housing for a Guest Folio. The Guest Folio is a form that states you are staying in Guest Housing on post, and your room number. It is mandatory you have this form in order to enroll your children in Lawton Public Schools.
Any student living in the Lawton Public School area between the ages of 14 to 17 and needing a work permit may obtain the paperwork from the Office of Student Services located at the John Shoemaker Education Center located at 753 N.W. Fort Sill Blvd., Lawton, OK 73507. Our hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday except for holidays.
Transcripts are not sent to Shoemaker Education Center until one year after graduation or the student has been absent from the system one full year. There are three ways to request a student transcript from Lawton Public School System.
Please Send a copy of your Photo ID with all transcript requests.
By Fax: Our Fax Number is (580) 250-1047. Please list the name you graduated under, the year you graduated, and your date of birth. Please list the address you need the transcript mailed to. This can include your home address as well as a college or work address. We normally mail three copies.
By Mail: Our mailing address is Lawton Public Schools, Attn: Student Records, P.O. Box 1009, Lawton, OK 73502-1009. Please list the name you graduated under, the year you graduated, and your date of birth. Please list the address you need the transcript mailed to. This can include your home address as well as a college or work address. We normally mail three copies. In Person: Please come by our office located at the John Shoemaker Education Center, 753 N.W. Fort Sill Blvd., Lawton, OK 73507
